Free Speech in Wartime

Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine and annexation of Crimea in 2014, Ukraine had to defend not only its territorial integrity on the battlefield but also its information security from the propaganda for war and genocidal rhetoric. To limit the aggressor's influence in the public sphere, the Ukrainian government has adopted a variety of instruments reflecting a national approach to limiting free speech during wartime.
